Our Story

We are a collaborative group of mental and educational health practitioners who believe that to know someone is to understand the systems in which they exist. We view our clients in the context of their surroundings: school, work, community, friendships and family.

Redwood Trees are awesome giants that serve as a metaphor for our work. These powerful symbols of community, unity, and resilience intertwine their roots underground to create a vast network of support. This interdependence mirrors the bond shared by families and community, where members rely on one another for strength, comfort, and growth. Just as redwood trees thrive in a nurturing forest community, The Redwood Center for Children and Families offers a circle of support. Through counseling, educational programs and community advocacy, RCCF can help people develop essential skills to overcome challenges and grow alongside one another.

What we offer...

Individual & Family Therapy

We offer counseling and therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Counseling costs, frequency, and duration is determined on an individual basis, per the needs of the client(s).

Workshops, Trainings,
& Events

We host events, trainings, workshops, community gatherings, and fundraisers periodically throughout the year for parents, teachers, families, counseling interns, and individuals of all ages. Topics are targeted toward areas of community interest and need. Subject to counselor availability and demand.

Community Resources & Educational Materials

We offer a library of resources for increased education, awareness, and support for our community members. Here you can find a list of recommended books, articles, blog posts, and referral resources relevant to our services.
